If you’re starting to notice mild sagging or loss of definition in the lower face, you can see great results from this treatment, as it provides a lifting effect to the face. During your consultation with Dr. Lieman, factors such as your health, medical history, cosmetic goals and expectations will be discussed in order to determine if a Halo Lift™ is right for your aesthetic concerns.
All filler injectables used by Dr. Lieman have been clinically tested and have proven safety profiles. Major side effects are rare, but slight bruising, swelling, redness, itching at injection site, and a mild headache is common and temporary.
There is no downtime required after a dermal filler treatment. Initially, patients may experience mild swelling and redness, although these will resolve quickly. Bruising at the injection site is not unusual. This can take up to a week to fade, but typically undetectable anyways because of the discrete filler placement. Results from a Halo Lift™ treatment will be immediately evident. The fillers will remain soft and malleable under the skin for up to 72 hours. It is critical that patients do not rub vigorously or manipulate the treatment area for the first few days, so as not to displace the filler.
Most patients experience results for up to 12 months, but this can vary depending on the type of filler and the individual.
Depending on your personal cosmetic goals and individual condition, Dr. Lieman will help you choose the dermal filler that is right for you:

Downtime is minimal at about three days. There can be mild tenderness to the treated area, which can be managed with Acetaminophen (Tylenol). Swelling at the injection site is typical, and can occasionally be seen 1-2 days after injections, this is normal and should resolve within 48 hours. As with any type of injection, bruising is always a possibility.
EZ-Gel is one of the safest injectables available and can be injected into areas that are considered high-risk zones when using traditional HA fillers. The reason being that if the EZ-Gel is injected into a blood vessel, there is absolutely no risk because it is only your own blood simply being reintroduced into your blood stream., making this treatment ideal and safe for a complete facial rejuvenation.
Some patients report a brief and mild pinch with a light pressure that is highly tolerable. We apply a topical numbing prior to injection to provide our patients with additional comfort during the procedure.
